What you will do
The Finance Supervisor will provide direct financial leadership to all Supply Chain pillars, mostly focusing on Manufacturing, Engineering, and Facilities within the LATAM region. This role will support all aspects related to the Capex and Opex investments, developing and driving both short-and long-term supply chain strategies and support financial and operational bench-marking across the region.
The Supervisor must directly and indirectly guide decision-making among all levels of management, using fact-based data and metrics which place an emphasis on long-term value creation. The individual must follow the financial environment to identify trends, opportunities and challenges while developing trust-based relationships across the Supply Chain organization. It is paramount for the role to ensure the application of the company accounting standards, statutory requirements and SOX controls.
This role will identify and implement opportunities to enhance financial analytics, capabilities within their finance team, work on simplification, standardization, agility, provide clear information to support decision making and influence the business partners.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide financial support to build solid business cases for investment decisions and portfolio management and actively contribute to regional sites strategies and master plans;
· Performance analytics and reporting: Review and communicate performance drivers, metrics, risks and opportunities and associated action plans;
· Planning and Forecasting: Work with business partners to challenge assumptions, build models, review financial outputs with management, and drive value creation on decision making;
· Support continuous improvements for financial processes/analytics and other ad hoc analyses/projects;
· Audit and Compliance: oversite of internal controls for both USGAAP/SOX and local statutory requirements, supporting internal/external audits.
· Developing talent for the finance organization. Ensure a strong performance management process that aligns individual objectives with business metrics and connects performance with career progression
