AMARO is a digitally native brand that innovates through technology and creativity to change the way people relate to fashion.
We are looking for a Retail Expansion Project Manager to lead multiple Guide Shop expansion projects across the country. You have a background in architecture, store expansion and experience production. You will own AMARO's Guide Shop expansion from strategy to hunting, negotiation, budgeting, project management and vendor relations. You are passionate about the future of retail, keen to create new kinds of formats and ready to get your hands dirty.
You’ll connect diverse teams of professionals, solve complex problems and, of course, hit deadlines and meet budgets. You’ll be personally representing AMARO on the ground from store design through construction to store opening ensuring that AMARO’s high standards for store experience are met.
This role is based in the São Paulo with frequent travel to other cities. You will report directly to the Head of Physical Retail with frequent interactions with the CEO.What you'll do:
- Hunt for new locations to bring our Guide Shop experiences to life for millions of customers
- Work with architecture firms to create concepts all the way to final executive projects
- Manage projects with internal stakeholders such as art direction, visual merchandising, CX and IT
- Closely work with construction firms from price negotiation, timeline management and construction supervision
- Manage landlord relationships, communications and approvals
- Create and manage independent project schedules, setting clear expectations for key stakeholders and track delivery against project plan
- Create detailed and accurate project budgets and timelines and track to them loyally through project completion
- Administrate an expedient and effective project close-out process with post-mortem for the entire teamWhat you have previously done:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of store project management directly managing high-touch retail projects
- Prior experience managing several projects simultaneously with R$ 1M+ construction budget per location
- Expert communicator capable of navigating and connecting diverse internal and external teams, ensuring timely and detailed communication of critical information
- Proficient in scheduling and budgeting
- Fluent in Excel or Google Suite. AutoCAD or other CAD software a plus
- Able to travel up to 25% of individual project construction duration
- Experience with retail construction and supervision
